The Transitional Housing Program is designed to help you obtain housing stabilization in an independent and safe setting. You may also receive help in obtaining treatment for other problems like drug abuse, mental health, and referrals for treatment of medical conditions that can prevent you from getting stable housing.
Services We Provide
The Transitional Housing Program (THP) provides for longer term housing for veterans leaving other treatment programs. The housing is setup as an apartment and is directly above our staff offices. The housing also provides financial independence, full rental and full utility assistance to give veterans the time they need to continue to focus on the treatment that they have already begun previously. The THP is designed to prepare veterans for that all important last step of preparation for reintegration.
Residents are required to establish goals, meet program requirements, and work towards self-sufficiency. Residents will work with a case manager who will provide residents with guidance, case management, mentoring and role modeling in order to facilitate better outcomes for the resident as they leave the program and reintegrate back into society on their own.
